California Airport Car Service
California Airport Car Service From LAX to SFO
California’s two largest metro areas each have several airports. In Southern California, Los Angeles International (LAX) is the main gateway, with Hollywood Burbank (BUR), Long Beach (LGB) and John Wayne in Orange County (SNA) as closer options for some neighborhoods. In the Bay Area, San Francisco International (SFO) is the largest, with Oakland (OAK) across the bay and San José (SJC) in Silicon Valley.
We serve all of them with flight tracking and meet-and-greet. Each airport has its own rules for where pre-arranged cars pick up, and your chauffeur will tell you exactly where to meet. Private flights are met at FBOs such as Van Nuys, Santa Monica, Oakland and San José.
Los Angeles and San Francisco: Two Very Different Cities
Los Angeles is a spread-out region where most trips are long and use the freeways: Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Hollywood, downtown, Orange County and the beaches can be an hour apart. San Francisco is compact and hilly, but the Bay Area around it stretches from Marin County to San José, and many business trips run between the city and Silicon Valley.
In both, hourly service is the easiest way to handle a day with several stops. The chauffeur stays with you, plans the route around traffic and waits nearby. For teams, a Sprinter keeps everyone together and gives space to work between meetings.
Stadiums, Studios, Tech Conferences and Wine Country
California hosts some of the biggest events in the country. SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara both hosted FIFA World Cup 2026 matches and host NFL games, concerts and other large events. Los Angeles will host the Summer Olympics in 2028. Studio visits and premieres in Hollywood and Burbank, award shows in Los Angeles, and large technology conferences at Moscone Center in San Francisco all add to demand.
North of San Francisco, Napa Valley and Sonoma are popular for chauffeured wine tours. In Southern California, many visitors book day trips to Malibu, Palm Springs or Santa Barbara. We quote each trip in full, with the chauffeur waiting at each stop.
Driving Between Los Angeles and San Francisco
Los Angeles and San Francisco are roughly 380 miles apart by I-5, which is usually a six- to seven-hour drive, or longer on the scenic Highway 1 along the coast. Most travelers fly between them, but some prefer a private car for a group, for luggage or for a trip with stops along the way. We quote these long-distance rides on request.
In California, limousine and charter operators must hold a permit from the California Public Utilities Commission.
